Indy Girl's Weekend

Last weekend Rob had the great pleasure of traveling to Augusta, Georgia and attending the Masters golf tournament with his dad and cousin. Not wanting to be left out of the fun, the Bedinghaus women, Lori, Lauren, Kayla and I, planned a girl's weekend in Indianapolis. (Rob did have an amazing time, but maybe ours was better? I can't really say, but I think so :).

We stayed in a hotel downtown and did all the fun touristy stuff like going to a Carrie Underwood concert at Conseco fieldhouse Friday night, eating out, shopping and going to the movies. By the end of the weekend we all agreed that this girl's weekend is going to become a tradition every year and we're glad about that. I am truly so blessed to have such amazing in-laws - I don't really even think of them as in-laws anymore; they are truly family.

Rob took my camera to the Masters (and took three pictures...to his credit though you couldn't take cameras or even cell phones onto the course or he would have taken more) but Lori had hers and she got some good shots.

Ready to go in to the Carrie Underwood concert

Probably one of the best concerts I have ever been to. She was truly amazing in concert. Of course starting out with Cowboy Casanova.
(We were really not this close -- upper balcony actually -- Lori has a great camera!)

More like the view we actually had. But here you can see her huge set too.

She is not afraid of heights! This is Carrie in the back of a truck that traveled on a cable around a horseshoe shaped track over the floor audience. Yes, and she's singing the whole time.

Shopping on Saturday

Eating our after dinner chocolates from the chocolate shop on the Circle downtown

After breakfast Sunday morning before saying goodbye. :( See you all soon!
